      Agri weather Bulletin is developed by Agro Climate Research Centre, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University using Weather Research Forecast (WRF) model's Advanced Research Weather (ARW) core. The Forecast model is being developed as a collaborative effort among the National Centre for Atmospheric Research's Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology(MMM) Division, Boulder, Collarado, USA. The version of the model is WRFV3.1 released during 2009 and for further details please visit WRF users page.

      The model has two domains with horizontal resolution of 15 km & 5 km for Mother and nested domain respectively. The Global Forecast System (GFS) data from National Centre for Environment Prediction is used for developing four days forecast cycle exclusively for the use by farmers of Tamil Nadu. At present the model is run on experimental basis. For graphical forecasts, please use the left hand side menu links and for quantitative forecast use the day links below.
